Never a dull moment or a bad sunset on the island of Sea Isle City, NJ. What an unexpected pleasure stepping out on the bayfront at 80th Street. The colors were amazing and I had to share my peaceful evening with you.

After returning to Sea Isle City on Sunday 1:30 pm when the government officials approved entrance I set out to see how we fared. To my surprise I found that we were very lucky. The beach was still there and the wind was blowing hard from the back end of the storm. By the bay in Townswnds Inlet the Coast Guard Station, you can see that it was abandoned and boarded up before the storm . By 2pm you can see that there was no flooding and the streets were clear.
